The best time to play Mark of the assassin is either at the end of Act 2, or beginning of Act 3. I suggest bringing along your favorite characters for that one and consider bringing your love interest. Then Legacy is best to play in the early-mid of act 3. The provided link works for DA: Origins and 2, but if you own the standard edition of Inquisition, the only ways of getting the DLCs within the EA App seem to be to either buy EA Play or the full priced game of the year edition.

I want to buy the 3 story DLCs for Dragon Age 2 but refrained to do this because of the stupidly high prices. The entire game is now 7.99 pounds but the 3 DLCs are 21.6 pounds in Bioware points!!! There was a 30% sitewide promo but that doesn't apply to "virtual currency".

Ok, I can confirm - all DLCs are NOW visible under manage additions (they wasnt before and i dont have EA play subscription) - so they had add it now for free. Name for my DAI was previous "standard" now i see "you own goty edition". Look also at second jpg attachment of user "xanthus7' here from 7 february - and you see also "standard edition".
As for the dlcs, in the Library click on the 3 dots of the game (DA:2 for you), select manage add-ons. you'll get a pop up with all dlcs with the option to download and it should work. hope this works for you if you had the same problem.
