Ambitious service advisor today told me the timing belt for my A4 2005.5 B7 should be replaced at 75K. The supplement in my owner's manual says 110K. I've seen some discussion about this on this forum, but not a definitive answer. I always thought it was a great bonus that this did not need to be done until 110K miles and I'm thinking this is

My 'wifes' '10 jsw 6mt tdi just passed 100k. In the spring I'm planning on replacing the timing belt. I've already purchased a replacement kit, including the water pump and metal nrd tools. Can anyone reccomend a good DIY guide? Also are there any specific non typical tools I should have on hand?
